NJDOE Approved Special Education Provider

Resilience Educational Services LLC is a New Jersey Department of Education–approved clinic and agency authorized to provide specialized educational and student-support services to public and nonpublic schools. Services may be delivered in school, at an approved off-site location, or in a student's home, as authorized by the referring Local Educational Agency (LEA). Our qualified professionals provide services in accordance with the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), New Jersey special education regulations, and each student's Individualized Education Program (IEP).

Partnering With Local Educational Agencies

Resilience Educational Services LLC partners with Local Educational Agencies (LEAs) to provide IDEA-compliant special education and instructional services, Child Study Team support, and professional development. Student services are initiated through LEA referral, aligned with the Individualized Education Program (IEP) when applicable, and provided in accordance with IDEA and N.J.A.C. 6A:14.

How Services Are Provided

  • Services are initiated through LEA referral.
  • Services are delivered at LEA-designated school locations, at an approved off-site location, or in a student's home,
  • Resilience Educational Services LLC does not operate a separate clinic site.
  • Providers hold the appropriate NJDOE certification and/or New Jersey Division of Consumer Affairs licensure for their assigned services.

Special Education & Instructional Services

Certified educators provide instructional services aligned with IEP goals and district-approved plans. Services may include:

  • IEP-aligned special education instruction
  • Push-in and pull-out instructional support
  • Compensatory education services
  • Targeted mathematics and literacy intervention
  • Training on developing effective Present Levels of Academic Achievement and Functional Performance (PLAAFP) statements
  • IEP implementation and instructional-support training

Child Study Team Services

RES provides contracted Child Study Team services to support districts with evaluations, eligibility determinations, documentation, meetings, and staffing needs. Services may include:

  • Educational, psychological, and social-history evaluations
  • Functional Behavioral Assessments
  • Eligibility-determination support
  • Reevaluation support
  • Written reports and required documentation
  • Participation in CST and IEP meetings
  • Consultation and collaboration with district Child Study Team members

Extended Learning & Academic Support

Extended learning services supplement school-day instruction and are provided through an LEA agreement. Services may include:

  • After-school instructional support
  • Summer instructional programs
  • Targeted academic intervention
  • Skill-building and enrichment services

Paraprofessional Support Services

Trained paraprofessionals may support IEP implementation under LEA direction and the supervision of certified or licensed professionals. Paraprofessionals may:

  • Support instructional and related services
  • Assist with implementing IEP accommodations and supports
  • Reinforce educator-directed instruction
  • Support student participation and independence

Paraprofessionals do not independently provide instruction, evaluations, or counseling services.

Counseling & Social-Emotional Learning Support

Counseling services are provided by appropriately certified or licensed professionals and delivered only when written into the IEP or authorized by the LEA. Services include:

  • Individual counseling
  • Group counseling
  • Social-emotional and behavioral goal support
  • Collaboration with school staff and families
  • Student mentoring & Parent coaching

How Services Begin

All NJDOE-approved special education services are initiated through an LEA or school-district referral. Services are individualized, documented, and coordinated with the student's educational team to support meaningful academic, behavioral, social-emotional, and communication progress.
